Together, We Can Make a Difference – Join Our Humanitarian Efforts
Humanitarian Relief
At Sewa International South Africa, we are committed to uplifting communities through various humanitarian relief efforts. Our initiatives focus on addressing immediate needs, ensuring dignity, and providing long-term solutions to improve lives. From warmth in winter to food security and basic living essentials, we strive to make a tangible difference.
Winter Warmth: Blanket Drive
Winters can be harsh, especially for vulnerable communities and stray animals with no protection from the cold. To help those in need, Sewa International South Africa launched a Blanket Drive to provide warmth and comfort. Within just a month of the campaign, we successfully distributed 1,012 blankets—surpassing our initial target of 1,000. This initiative ensured that individuals, families, and even animals could face the cold with warmth and car
Beds 4 Sewa
From our case work, it became evident that many households lack basic sleeping arrangements, with children often sleeping on cement floors. In response, during Diwali 2022, Sewa International launched the “Beds 4 Sewa” project, providing 40 beds to various households in need. This initiative aimed to ensure a comfortable and dignified living environment for all.
Grocery Hamper Sewa
Every year the organization purchases and distributes grocery hampers as an ongoing program. The aim is to ensure that families have the basic amenities to cook.
Nourish Together
Bringing Light and Nourishment: Sewa SA’s Diwali Hamper Drive 2024 Sewa International South Africa illuminated lives through the Nourish Together 2024 Diwali Food Hamper Drive, delivering 200 hampers worth R260 each to families in need.
